Willkommen am Institut für Informatik! Diese Webseite dient als Anlaufstelle für Informationen rund um den Aufenthalt am Institut. Weitere Informationen finden Sie auf der entsprechenden Seite der Medieninformatik.

Kursauswahl

  • Zur Kursverwaltung verwenden wir die Plattform Moodle. Login ist nach erfolgreicher Immatrikulation möglich. Auch vorher schon bietet die Plattform eine Liste von Lehrveranstaltungen mit weiteren Informationen. Die Kursbeschreibung helfen auch beim Finden englischsprachiger Kurse.
  • Plätze für Praktika und Seminare werden oft über eine Zentralanmeldung vergeben. Informieren Sie sich bereits einige Wochen vor Semesterbeginn über die Bewerbungsfrist. Wenn Sie noch nicht rechtzeitig immatrikuliert sind, empfiehlt es sich, den Dozent:innen im Vorhinein Bescheid zu geben, sodass eventuell ein Platz reserviert werden kann.
  • Zusätzlich zu den gelisteten Lehveranstaltung besteht auch die Möglichkeit, ein individuelles Projekt im Rahmen von 6 oder 12 ECTS-Punkten zu absolvieren. Dafür müssen Sie ein Institutsmitglied finden, das sie qualifiziert betreut.
  • Grundsätzlich ist es auch möglich, Lehrveranstaltungen an anderen Instituten zu belegen (je nach Verfügbarkeit).

Transcript of Records

Sobald Ihre Lehrveranstaltungen benotet sind und Sie Ihr Transcript of Records erhalten möchten, übertragen wir die Noten in das LSF-System. Kontaktieren Sie uns dafür über die Emailadresse für administrative Angelegenheiten.

Welcome to the Institute for Informatics! On this website, we have gathered some practical information for your stay. Additional information is available on the website of the media informatics group.

Choosing Courses

  • We use the course management platform Moodle. You will receive login details once you are a registered student at our institute but you can already check the list of offered courses. The descriptions are also helpful for identifying courses given in English.
  • Many practical courses and seminars are organised via a central allocation process. Make sure to check the registration deadlines a few weeks before the semester starts. If you do not get your login credentials in time, it makes sense to tell the lecturers that you are interested in the class but cannot register in time.
  • Besides the regular courses, it is also possible to do an individual research project. This requires that you find a member of the institute who supervises you. Projects are awarded with 6 ECTS credits.
  • Generally speaking, it is also possible to attend courses at other departments (subject to availability).

Transcript of Records

Once you have passed all your classes and would like to obtain your Transcript of Records, we will transfer the grades to LSF. Please use the administrative contact below to start the process.
